Stay at "Cozy Cabin-Style Home with Fireplace and Yard", a guesthouse that is offered up by an incredible host, Matt. What makes this property so cool (besides the adorable decor, lol... yes, that was a shameless self-plug) is that it is in the heart of the city but tucked back so you feel like you are outside Kingston. Minutes to anything you need, restaurants, shops, Uptown, the Roundout... but it feels like you are secluded in the woods. This is perfect for a single person or couple looking to work remotely or just chill for a week. And although I am biased, Matt is genuinely one of the nicest people I know. Such an incredible host who has taught me a lot. So definitely check it out if you ever get the chance. You won't be disappointed!

Ski chalet vibes coming in strong at the Alpine Chalet. This short term rental gives you all the feels of staying in a modern, nordic home. It's situated super close to the adorable town of Phoenicia and has awesome restaurants nearby like Peek-A-Moose and The Phoenicia Diner. The best part is that you will definitely see some wildlife meandering through the yard on a regular basis. Being close to the river, animals love the area, and it will for sure give you all the upstate feels that you are looking for. Plus, with the stunning design, it's literally impossible not to fall in love with the Catskills if you stay here.

I love, love, love the "Modern Stream Side Cabin", especially the soaking tub in the bathroom (not that you asked, lol). This little cabin has had quite the update since my clients bought it, and they have literally thought of everything to make your stay perfect. As incredibly cozy as the inside is, it's the screened, all-seasons porch that has me swooning. Egg chair, fire crackling in the stove and a stream trickling right outside, I mean, life doesn't get better than that. And they have an incredible outdoor deck also located right next to the stream. I remember sitting there for hours this past summer catching up with them. And despite it being one of the hottest days of the year, we were cool as a cucumber because of the shade and the breeze. So you definitely don't want to miss this one. Ski season is here, and this is the perfect location to stay to get to Hunter Mountain ASAP.
Ellenville, New York
The Stream Side Chalet originally was an old barn but has been converted into the most adorable short term rental. Designed and curated by the host, Allison, she brings her excellent taste and love for boho, a dash of rustic and a dash of mid century modern into the space. Everything about it screams stylish as hell. With a loft space and an open floor plan downstairs, you have the perfect amount of space for a group of friends to come up, cook, hang out, and reconnect. Set across from a stream on a private lot you will hear the sound of running water and it will soothe you. Enjoy sitting in the screened in porch area sipping a cup of coffee or hanging out by the fire pit on a summer night. If you book this place, you're in for a treat!

I'm obsessed with the Catskill Mountain Cottage! Talk about Catskill vibes?!? They nailed it! Dee and Jon sourced beautiful antiques and mixed it with modern finishes for the perfect blend. Also, my clients did such a great job creating the perfect kid-friendly escape from the city. This house is set up to host those family gatherings and celebrations that we all dream of. Set on a private lot, perched on a hill and surrounded by mature trees, it literally is the perfect escape for uninterrupted relaxation. And best part? This cutie is a newbie and just got up and running. Don't be fooled, although this house sits on a road, it is a super quiet road. The house is perched up and has a full acre of forest behind it to explore. Plus it has a private little outdoor area to hang out and share some laughs with your fellow guests. The neighbors are super sweet, and you are literally minutes to the main street in Rosendale with the cutest rainbow colored shops and delicious little restaurants. If you haven't heard about Rosendale yet, get in the know now, because it is blowing up!

This is my little "Adorable, Quaint Cottage in Stone Ridge NY" that is available for rent. I decided to include it just because I get DM's often asking about it. Hosts Andrew and Ben are hard at work already with a killer design plan and an incredible contractor, turning this into the best hangout house ever. Perched on a hill with a gigantic wrap around deck, it will feature a main house and a secondary house. Rent them both together or separately. Totally up to you. But this house is going to be epic! Not to mention it's just 15 minutes from Catamount. Perfect for skiing, snowboarding or hanging out in the lodge with some hot chocolate, if you are like me, lol.

Cedar shingled house with two private decks. Yes, please! This house is everything you look for in a Catskills home... including space and privacy. My client is a professional interior designer, so I am on pins and needles waiting for this one to come together, because I just know it will be so beautiful when it's done. The location is awesome! It's close to Hudson if you want to go do some shopping or have a lovely meal, and it's also close to the ski slopes and some really great hikes. This one will be booked solid in no time!

This short term rental situation is super unique. This is your opportunity to stay at an old tavern that has been converted into an musician's residency space. Come and enjoy live music while creating new music of your own (if you feel so inclined). My client, Peyton, has an incredible vision to create community and explore the arts. He, along with several other musicians and friends, has reconstructed this old building using locally sourced materials. The clay walls were literally scooped by hand from a creek on his property. This little gem is going to be such a stunner. I cannot wait for my clients to go live with this one. Don't be fooled by the exterior, it is pretty darn spacious inside and has an awesome open concept for the living room, kitchen and dining room. It also has an epic yard that backs up to green space. Private, but close to all the local favorites like Kelder's Farm and Sundown Wild Forest. You will literally want to book every single weekend. Plus, the hosts are a ball of fun. You really couldn't ask for better people to help ensure you have a fantastic stay.
